As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery to support our construction projects. This is a vital role within our organization, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and proficiently operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and graders.
• Perform tasks such as excavation, grading, leveling, and site preparation according to project requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify any potential issues.
• Follow project plans and instructions to ensure work is completed accurately.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and project managers to ensure smooth operations.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Complete assigned tasks within the specified timeframes.

Requirements & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator, preferably in a construction or similar industry.
• Valid heavy equipment operator license or certification.
• Strong knowledge of operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery.
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to interpret project plans, blueprints, and instructions.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
